There’s nothing like the pulse-pounding excitement of a good auction!
The very first time we held a GTA Guns auction, I knew they were something special. They’ve since become my favourite day of the month. Every month, we have hundreds of firearms, gun accessories like scopes, and other items of interest like throwing knives and hunting paraphernalia. The excitement from the participants in the auction is palpable, both online and in-person. Being in the center of the action at an auction is exhilarating. Bids come in from everywhere, and everyone’s energy is super high. It’s a lot like the excitement of a big game of hockey, with the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat!
Online, we have people bidding on items throughout the month, even before the day of the final auction. It’s so much fun to browse through the catalogue of available items, placing bids or saving the items you are really interested in. We also had a lot of people check out the firearms in-person, although it was a lot less convenient. Once a month, we had a viewing where folks could come in to our offices for an inspection of the items up for auction. This was one of the major reasons so many people attended the in-person part of the auction instead of bidding from the comfort of their own home—they wanted to check out the guns.
We, of course, sold all 161 of the finest collectible and working guns available in last month’s sale, bringing in tons of cash for our sellers. This is one of the biggest advantages of listing your item in a GTA Guns auction: you don’t have to worry about any of the details. We take your items, professionally appraise them, transport them, list them on the website, and then take care of all the paperwork when they sell. You just have to get paid—that’s it!

As exciting as our GTA Guns auctions are, they are going to be undergoing a pretty big change this upcoming month. We are eliminating the in-person part of the auction. As we said above, the main reason why so many people attend the live auction is to see the items.
Instead, we are going to be providing a two-week window where you can simply call our offices at 1-844-482-4644 and book a time to see the items you want. From this point on, every auction is going to be held exclusively online (where the vast majority of the buyers are anyway). We hope that you’ll give us a chance to show exactly how effective this new innovation in our firearms auctions will be.
If you’re interested in listing an item in March’s upcoming auction, you’ll need to hurry! Our inventory is already ⅔ full for this auction, so if you have items for sale, give us a call now! If you are a consignor, note that we will need your consignments no later than four weeks before the auction to properly advertise your items and maximize their value.
We hope to “see” you at our next online auction in March, which we suspect will be just as exciting, if not more exciting, than our previous in-person auctions!
