Are you currently a little worried about your finances?
Because of physical distancing in the era of COVID-19, many non-essential businesses needed to close their doors. This has left many Canadians furloughed, or out of work entirely. Yes, there have been wage subsidy programs put into place by the federal government, but for many, this will only cover a partial amount of their expenses.
It’s in times like this when having a valuable firearms collection can come in handy. If you’re a collector of firearms, you have likely built up quite an investment. Periods of difficulty are the perfect time to cash in on your collection if you need money fast.
How to Sell Your Firearms
Trying to sell your firearms at the best of times is tough enough, and right now, it’s harder than ever.
Currently, all physical gun store locations are closed due to the pandemic. Even if they were open, the money you might receive selling your firearms to these stores would likely not be close to the amount those firearms are worth.
Selling your guns online is still an option, but there’s a significant risk of fraud and scams out there. On top of that, you’d have to transport the firearms to the buyer yourself, and with physical distancing rules in place, this could become a logistical headache.
The solution, of course, is GTA Guns auctions. When you list your firearms with us, you’ll get more money than you would through a private sale, safely and quickly. There’s no risk of being scammed because we take care of everything.
How Firearms Auctions Work
GTA Guns auctions work just like any other auction on the internet.
Once we have your firearms in our possession, we run them through our proprietary GUNCHECK™ or CYCLECHECK™ programs to determine their condition. During this process, we take high-res photos inside and out of the firearms. These photos go up on the firearms’ listing pages so that potential buyers can see exactly what they’re buying.
Once the listing pages are up, you just sit back and wait for the bids to start rolling in. Generally, the serious firearm collectors swoop in a day or two before the end of the auction to maximize their chances of winning. It can be incredibly exciting to watch the bids climb higher and higher!
What Do You Have to Do?
Nothing at all. We have it all covered.
Once your firearms have been sold, we handle everything. We transport the guns to the buyer. We handle their payment. If they aren’t satisfied with your firearm for any reason, that’s OUR problem, not yours.
All you have to do is wait for the much-needed cash to come into your bank account. Once you see how much you can earn from a single auction, you might decide to put some other items in your collection up for auction as well!
We’ve all been stuck in limbo the last few months as “the new normal” has fallen into place. Fortunately, it barely impacted our firearm auctions. As everything is handled online, we can keep our services running throughout this crisis, connecting firearm collectors from across the continent.
