How often do you see your doctor for a check-up?
Booking regular check-ups with your GP is key to keeping yourself healthy. Even if you don’t believe there’s anything seriously wrong, it’s good to have a medical professional take a look “under the hood,” so to speak. It’s your GP’s job to identify any potential issues and take care of them before they become serious problems.
While the condition of your firearms isn’t entirely on the same level as your physical health, that doesn’t mean it isn’t important to keep your firearms in tip-top shape! You don’t want to notice something wrong with your guns while in the middle of a hunting trip, for example. That means keeping them in optimal storage conditions, doing regular maintenance, and even taking them in for occasional upgrades.
Making an appointment to take your firearms into a certified gunsmith could head off any potential issues, possibly preventing long-term damage to your guns. But where can you find a certified gunsmith? At GTA Guns, of course!
GTA Guns Gunsmithing Services
Keep in mind that assessing the conditions of firearms is a vital part of our business. Using our proprietary GUNCHECK™ and CYCLECHECK™ verification services, we thoroughly inspect and appraise every firearm we sell through our auctions.
If you wish to know the detailed condition of every firearm in your collection, we would be happy to put them through detailed examinations so you know what needs to be taken care of. After that “check-up,” we can turn your firearms over to our gunsmith for repair or upgrade, if necessary.
Meet Our “GP” of Gunsmithing: David
We work with firearms every day at GTA Guns. That means we know how important it is to entrust them to an experienced professional who knows everything there is to know about them.
David Battiston is a master gunsmith who has been working with firearms for decades. In fact, we entrust him to work on our personal guns! With his expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading firearms, you can put aside any anxiety that your guns won’t be treated with proper care.
Moreover, David comes with GTA Guns’ satisfaction guarantee. If you receive your firearm and you aren’t 100% satisfied with the work done on it, we promise we’ll make it right, free of charge!
What We Offer
If you’re looking for some firearm maintenance, we’d also be happy to help in this department! We offer gun cleaning and firing tests to ensure the reliability of your firearms. The cost to you depends on the type of firearm that we’re servicing. We can do some stick work or even stock repair. We can also replace recoil pads.
If you’re looking to upgrade your firearms, we offer services like bluing or bolt jeweling. These customizations can make your firearms more accurate and easier for you to handle.
You can find all of our prices and services on our website. If you need any specific adjustments, repairs, or upgrades for your guns that we don’t mention, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for more information.
Are Our Services Only for the GTA?
GTA Guns’ brick-and-mortar location is in Newmarket, Ontario, but that doesn’t mean we can’t service your firearms, no matter where in Canada you’re located.
As you know, we regularly ship firearms across the country after our bi-monthly auctions. All you need to do is contact us, and we’ll walk you through how to properly package your firearms for shipping to us. Once repaired or upgraded, we’ll securely ship your firearms back to you as soon as they’re ready!
If your firearms haven’t been performing to your expectations, it might be time to have a professional look at them. Whether you’re looking for repairs, maintenance, or upgrades, GTA Guns can help. If you’d like to learn more about GTA Guns gunsmithing, our auctions, safe storage, or any of our other services, please feel free to contact us today!
